AT IPS, WE PLAN TO SUPPORT STUDENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR EMPLOYERS DURING THEIR LEARNING AND BEYOND.
Parent and Family Support
Parents will be full partners on this journey. Each parent will be offered coaching to foster independence through regular parent trainings. As a parent, you will be given resources to help find your young adults jobs. Social activities will be planned monthly for current students and parents including host speakers for relevant issues to help foster growth.
Alumni and Employer Support
Once a graduate obtains a job, IPS will monitor their progress in the workplace and help them as well as their employers navigate the process. We will match graduates with trained mentors, offer quarterly meetups/webinars to support graduates as they navigate their first jobs and host alumni regularly to speak to current students about working in their first trade positions.
