IPS Behavioral Assistant

Behavioral Assistant Annie Guske helps IPS woodworking students learn about safety, tool usage and designing and measuring techniques as well as communication, listening, time management and team building. Annie leads students through activities such as warming up for physical activity, yoga and mindfulness exercises.

During her years at George Mason University where she earned a degree in Human Development & Family Science with a minor in American Sign Language in 2020, Annie started working with people of differing abilities. Since then, she has worked with autistic teens and adults in a variety of capacities to help them develop their independence, self-advocacy and social and communications skills.

“I am so thrilled to join the IPS team!,” Guske said. “Whether it’s with friends, family, or in the workplace, I have a strong passion for encouraging the people in my life to realize their own potential. I feel that IPS embodies this in everything that they do.”
