IPS Woodworking Instructor

Max Hochberg brings an array of past experience in woodworking, construction, and facility management. He also has significant experience in supporting individuals with disabilities in a variety of recreational settings. 

Max uses his extensive knowledge of metalwork, milling, and CNC-guided machines to effectively teach safety procedures to IPS students and guide them in building woodworking projects. He creatively plans projects for students in which they learn to use a variety of tools and techniques so that they can gain confidence and achieve mastery over time. 

“The skills to be handy are indispensable to people of all abilities and I am passionate about sharing what I have learned. When not fixing things around the house, I enjoy cooking and playing the drums.”
